Sussex Craft Week – curated by ROSA (Review of Sussex Arts) – is a new week-long event that aims to celebrate craft and showcase the wealth of creativity in Sussex: its makers and making.
“Creativity on an industrial scale” is how Sussex Craft Week Partner, Gyr King, CEO, Fine Art Printers King & McGaw, describes the craft industry in Sussex today. Sussex Craft Week sets out to showcase this to the world with a series of high profile exhibitions, demonstrations and open studios, along with open-to-all courses.
Sussex Craft Week will offer a coordinated exhibition and event programme across East and West Sussex and Brighton & Hove, revealing the history of craft in Sussex and its place as the hub of today’s craft revival.
Visitors will discover exciting craft exhibitions, events, demonstrations, open workshops and courses across Sussex, all easy to find via an interactive map and calendar, as well as ROSA’s print magazine.
